United with Israel is a grassroots organisation born out of the brutal and unprecedented Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
Our group of volunteers focuses on Advocacy for the Hostages and their families and providing targeted humanitarian aid to impacted Israelis.
Our Story
United with Israel Australia NZ was born from the horror of October 7, 2023. As the news broke, the plight of hundreds of innocent Israelis held captive in Gaza weighed heavily on the hearts of the Jewish community in Melbourne. Driven by this urgency, we—an independent grassroots collective—gathered to raise awareness of Israel’s suffering. What began as spontaneous rallies for justice has grown into a dedicated commitment to support those in need through advocacy and fundraising for shattered communities. We work closely with The Hostages and Missing Families Forum in Israel to ensure their voices are heard in Australia. We remain entirely volunteer-run, relying on the generosity of our community. Every Sunday, rain or shine, we unite to honour the hostages, ensuring their stories are not forgotten. These gatherings amplify our voices as we push for their release. A year later, our mission is stronger than ever, rooted in the belief that unity and advocacy can light up the darkest times. United with Israel Australia NZ is a testament to compassion and solidarity, and we will continue to stand by Israel and fight for justice until every life is returned home.
